CAHP and its member plans demonstrated our commitment to improving our health care system bysupporting the passage of a Managed Care Organization tax to stabilize funding in our state Medi-Cal program. We also fought to protect and improve care coordination in the Cal Mediconnect program and highlighted the crisis of high priced drugs. The Legislature passed several new bills requiring a multitude
of changes and adjustments for plans and our relationships with providers.
